Romy Choudhury

Romy qualified as a Solicitor in July 2000 after studying law part time at Manchester Metropolitan University whilst in full time employment and has been employed as a Claimant personal injury lawyer for various specialist legal practices across the North West over the last 24 years.

Romy joined IMD Solicitors LLP in February 2024 as a Solicitor within the firm’s busy Personal Injury Team.

Romy has a wealth of experience in dealing with all types of personal injury claims including Road Traffic Accidents, Public Liability/Occupiers Liability cases, Accidents at Work, Industrial Disease cases, Credit Hire cases and claims to the Motor Insurers’ Bureau and Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority.

Romy specialises in litigated cases on behalf of Claimants handling cases from inception to final trial.

Romy has been involved in the settlement of several high profile, high value cases including a claim involving brain injury which settled for £1.4 million, together with many serious injury claims with a value in excess of £25,000.

Romy provides clear legal advice and robust litigation experience on behalf of clients in order to achieve the best possible outcome with a commitment to providing an excellent service throughout the claim process from start to finish.

In his free time Romy is an avid Manchester United supporter and keen amateur guitarist.
