We are proud to announce that we commenced our cooperation with British Red Cross!
The British Red Cross is part of the world’s largest humanitarian voluntary movement. Our emblem is an internationally recognised symbol of protection, showing our commitment to supporting people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. Each year we respond to multiple global emergencies, including earthquakes, floods and conflicts, providing vital first aid, and essentials such as food, clean water and shelter as well as ongoing support to help those affected rebuild.
On the 3rd July we are having on our board an expert from BRC invited to talk to us about their work and the difference our donation will make.
In the past we used to take part in some previous editions of Miles for Refugees (https://miles.redcross.org.uk/), which is a great cause, and we encourage all of you to take part in it.
British Red Cross: Together we are the world’s emergency responders
Here in the UK BRC local teams are working hard to support some of the most vulnerable people right here in our local communities.
They respond to house fires and floods, provide first aid training in schools, help vulnerable and isolated people to get home and settled after a hospital stay, as well as supporting local refugees and those who have been displaced, to find safety and live with dignity.
