Alina Medianu

Alina is a First Response Team Advisor at IMD Solicitors and is often the first point of contact for clients seeking legal assistance. She plays a key role in delivering a professional and supportive experience from the earliest stages of a matter, ensuring that clients receive prompt guidance and assistance when making initial enquiries.

As part of the First Response Team, Alina manages new client enquiries, arranges solicitor call-backs and client meetings, and assists with the onboarding process for new clients. She works closely with solicitors across the firm, providing administrative and practical support in accordance with their instructions during the initial stages of a matter. Her organised approach and attention to detail help ensure that matters are progressed efficiently and that clients receive a seamless service from the outset.

Alina brings a strong customer service background to her role and is recognised for her excellent communication skills, customer-focused approach and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. She is committed to maintaining accurate records, supporting colleagues and helping clients navigate the early stages of their legal journey with confidence and clarity.

She has a particular interest in Criminal Law and Probate, which has led her to undertake ongoing professional development in these areas. Her studies include a Level 3 Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure course, as well as a Probate and Wills course. In addition, she regularly completes training focused on improving both verbal and written communication skills, reflecting her commitment to continuous professional development and delivering excellent client service.

Outside of work, Alina enjoys reading and watching real case-based documentaries, particularly those relating to criminal investigations, cold cases and developments in investigative technology. She has a keen interest in advances such as DNA profiling and genealogical investigation techniques and enjoys learning about how evolving technologies continue to shape modern criminal investigations.
