Irina Matasa

Irina Mihaela Matasa is a Legal Assistant in the Family Department at IMD Solicitors LLP. She previously worked within the firm’s First Response Team, where she developed extensive experience managing client enquiries. She speaks Romanian, Italian, and English, which enables her to provide seamless support to clients across multiple languages.

Irina joined IMD Solicitors in early 2023, after a solid career of more than 10 years in the notarial legal field in Romania. Over the years, as a paralegal in the notarial field, she has handled a wide range of legal cases in areas such as civil and family law.

Irina completed her Law Degree at ‘Alexandru loan Cuza’ University of lasi, Romania, graduating in 2010. In 2011 – 2013 she attended a Master’s degree in Business Law at “Alexandru loan Cuza” University of lasi, Romania.

Understanding that legal matters can be daunting, Irina adopts a client-centric approach, ensuring open communication, transparency, and a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes.

Irina is also an active member of the Social Committee and outside of the office, she enjoys spending time in nature and reaching the highest mountain peaks.
