Joanna Scibek

Joanna Scibek is a Client Intake Advisor at IMD Solicitors, supporting prospective and existing clients with immigration, criminal and employment law enquiries.

As one of the first points of contact for many clients, Joanna is committed to providing personalised support and helping individuals understand their legal options. She takes the time to listen carefully to each client’s circumstances, explain available routes in a clear and accessible way, and manage expectations from the outset of the legal process.

Joanna works with both Polish and English-speaking clients, helping them feel informed and supported during what can often be a stressful and uncertain period. Her empathetic approach, combined with strong communication skills, enables her to build trust with clients and ensure they receive the guidance they need to make informed decisions about their matter.

Before joining IMD, Joanna gained over six years of experience as a Recruitment Consultant and two years as an Account Manager. This background helped her develop excellent client relationship skills, a strong understanding of individual and business needs, and the ability to communicate effectively with people from a wide range of backgrounds.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Administration and a Master of Arts from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. Joanna is known for her clear communication, empathy and practical approach. She is passionate about delivering a positive client experience and ensuring that every client feels heard, supported and confident about the next steps in their legal journey.

Outside work, Joanna enjoys hiking and exploring some of the UK’s most scenic landscapes, including the Peak District, Lake District and Jurassic Coast. She is also a proud football mum and enjoys supporting her child from the sidelines, embracing the teamwork, commitment and community spirit that grassroots football brings.
