Maciej Dadynski is a Consultant Solicitor with a practice focused exclusively on criminal defence. He has been dedicated to criminal law since 2013, qualified as a Solicitor in 2016, and obtained Higher Rights of Audience in 2017, enabling him to represent clients before all criminal courts in England and Wales.

Maciej advises and represents clients across the full spectrum of criminal matters, from allegations at the investigation stage through to trial, sentencing and appeals. While he has extensive experience across all areas of criminal defence, he is particularly recognised for his work in serious and complex cases involving allegations of violence, organised crime, firearms offences, sexual offences, fraud, money laundering and large-scale drug conspiracies.

A significant part of Maciej’s practice involves pre-charge representation. He regularly advises clients during lengthy and sensitive investigations, providing strategic guidance from the earliest stages and making detailed representations to investigators and prosecutors with a view to preventing charges wherever possible. He understands the personal, professional and financial impact that criminal investigations can have and works proactively to achieve the best outcome at the earliest opportunity.

He takes pride in providing a genuinely personal service, remaining directly available to clients when they need him, often outside traditional office hours. Maciej is an experienced advocate who regularly appears in police stations, Magistrates’ Courts and the Crown Court. He is known for his careful preparation, attention to detail and ability to identify practical and strategic solutions in challenging cases.

Successfully appealing the conviction of a client convicted of failing to provide a specimen of blood (R v S, 2026).
Securing the recovery of seized cryptoassets from HMRC on behalf of a client (R v W, 2026).
Successfully persuading the court to find exceptional circumstances in a 3D-printed firearm case, enabling a client to avoid the statutory minimum sentence of five years’ imprisonment (R v C, 2026).
Securing no further action following detailed pre-charge representations for a client accused of rape (R v K, 2026).
Persuading police to take no further action against a client facing allegations of rape, coercive and controlling behaviour, and child abduction (R v P, 2025).
Achieving acquittal on all counts for a client charged with possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs and possession of criminal property (R v K, 2024).
Securing a not guilty verdict for a client charged with rape (R v L, 2024).
Securing an acquittal for a client falsely accused of strangulation and assault (R v P, 2023).
Representing a client in Proceeds of Crime proceedings and negotiating a significantly reduced benefit figure, avoiding the need to sell the family home (R v P, 2023).
Representing defendants facing allegations including murder, manslaughter, robbery and kidnap (R v J, 2018).
Successfully defending a malicious allegation of rape, resulting in a jury acquittal (R v B, 2016).

Outside work, Maciej is passionate about health, fitness and wellbeing. He enjoys spending time in the gym, running, swimming and exploring the Yorkshire countryside. He also has a longstanding interest in nature and can often be found searching local coastlines for fossils and other hidden treasures.
