Mateusz Bratko

Mateusz specialises in employment and commercial law, advising both employers and employees on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters. As a Solicitor of England and Wales and Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEx), he combines technical legal expertise with a pragmatic, client-focused approach.

Having started his legal career at IMD Solicitors LLP, Mateusz later joined a nationwide workers’ union to broaden his experience and develop his employment law practice. During this time, he was involved in numerous employment cases against some of the largest employers in the United Kingdom, securing successful outcomes for clients across a wide variety of workplace disputes. He subsequently returned to IMD as a Consultant Solicitor, bringing with him valuable experience gained from acting in complex and high-profile employment matters.

He acts for employers and employees across a range of sectors, providing practical and commercially sensible advice tailored to each client’s circumstances and objectives. He also assists overseas clients with their UK employment law requirements and has experience advising on regulatory matters and cross-jurisdictional legal work.
