• Cross-border Wills and estate planning– drafting Wills for clients with assets in the UK, as well as for clients with assets in multiple jurisdictions
• Probate and estate administration– assisting personal representatives and families with obtaining Grants of Probate/ Letters of Administration and administering estates, including those involving overseas assets and international element.
• Resealing foreign Grants of Probate in England and Wales to enable overseas personal representatives to deal with UK assets.
• Inheritance tax planning– advising on tax-efficient estate planning and the use of available reliefs and allowances to mitigate inheritance tax liabilities.
• Lasting Powers of Attorney– preparing and registering LPAs to ensure trusted individuals can make financial, property, health and welfare decisions if capacity is lost.
• Deputyship applications– advising families on applications to the Court of Protection where a person lacks capacity and no LPA is in place.

• Advised on the administration of complex and high-net-worth estates, including those involving assets in the UK and overseas, coordinating with foreign lawyers to ensure estates are administered efficiently across jurisdictions.
• Assisted executors and families with obtaining Grants of Probate and managing estates during what can be a particularly difficult and sensitive time.
• Prepared Wills for clients with international assets, ensuring their estate planning operates effectively across multiple jurisdictions.
• Advised clients on inheritance tax planning, helping families structure their estates in a tax-efficient manner.
• Assisted clients with the preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney and supported families with Court of Protection deputyship applications where capacity has been lost.

Rezwana is fluent in Bengali (Sylheti dialect) enabling her to advise and support clients who prefer to discuss their personal affairs in their native language.
